Squad Storm
Squad StormThe core aim of Squad Storm is to create a tabletop wargaming system aimed at the squad/section level that attempts to alleviate the static linear problems associated with a turn based system. Primary situations where an actor would not act in instances where an enemy actor would pass through their line of sight without the observing opponent being able to react because it was not their turn. Although we can never fully get away from players each taking a turn in sequence, we can instigate a nonlinear game system that enables other players to act and interrupt the proposed actions of their own or other actors in the game environment.
Based on readily available 1:35th scale models. With real world data scaled down to the 1:35th scale. All measurements in metric. All human models are based on a 40mm round base.
Current Status: Development (aim: produce playtest rules and found playtest groups).
